How this works
What you can send an organisation, and what happens after you do.
Organisations use this space for two different things, and they are kept apart on purpose.
The two streams
- Questions — you want an answer. Someone in the organisation picks it up, answers it, and you can see the answer.
- Feedback — you want to tell them something: praise, a concern, or an idea. It may not need a reply, but it is counted and read.
What happens after you send something
- 1Your item gets a reference, for example NZSME-2026-0007. Keep it if you want to follow up.
- 2It goes to the part of the organisation that handles that topic.
- 3Someone there picks it up. Questions get answered; feedback is read and grouped with similar feedback.
- 4If it needs a decision from higher up, it can be passed to the level above without you having to send it again.
- 5You are replied to on the same channel you used, so an email question comes back by email.
